Bus Orientations
Driving in Virginia Workshops to explain each step in the driver’s license process
Learner’s Permit Study Materials in clients’ primary languages
DMV Navigation Support
Driving School Referrals and Scholarships for behind the wheel lessons
Through these services, clients can:
Become safe, confident drivers
Gain the ability to access more of their community
Contribute to the safety and strength of the wider community
Manage their own affairs and care for their families
2024 Highlights
216 clients equipped with learner’s permit study materials in their primary language
29 clients received DMV navigation support
102 clients connected with reputable driving schools to develop safe driving skills
152 driving credentials earned
$3,360 provided in scholarship funding for driving lessons

Our commitment to language access means ensuring that newcomers can understand the driver’s license process through interpreted workshop sessions and can learn the rules of safe driving using translated study materials in their primary language.
