Riding the bus is often the first step toward self-sufficiency. Using public transit allows you to get to some important places on your own, become familiar with the area, and learn your way around town.
Here in Richmond, Virginia, the bus system is called the Greater Richmond Transit Company (GRTC). Riding the bus is free!

You do not need a ticket to ride the bus. GRTC is currently operating at Zero Fare to all passengers.
