EMPLOYMENT NAVIGATION

Our Employment Navigation services equip immigrants and refugees with the tools and support needed to secure meaningful employment. Through individualized coaching, clients receive guidance on resume writing, job applications, interview preparation, and workplace culture.

Many newcomers bring strong professional backgrounds but face challenges translating their experience to the U.S. job market. Our program bridges that gap, ensuring clients can confidently pursue careers that align with their skills and aspirations.

In 2024, we expanded our services to include:

  • Enhanced Resume Support: Tailored formatting and translation assistance for clients seeking professional roles.

  • Industry-Specific Networking: Focused sessions on high-demand fields — including healthcare, skilled trades, and administrative work. Clients then meet with professionals in their field to learn more about their industry and grow their professional network.

  • Employer Engagement: Strengthening relationships with local businesses to promote inclusive hiring practices. Recent partners include Super Radiator Coils, Aimbridge Hospitality, and White Lodging.

As a new immigrant student, trying to find a GED class and enroll in college was very hard for me. I’m thankful that I found ReEstablish Richmond to help me understand the application process and find resources for the GED class and FAFSA.
